Reset your Systems
If you believe you aren’t using a system already, believe me, you have an unstructured one.

Reset Your Systems: How You Do Anything is How You Do Everything
If you believe you aren’t using a system already, believe me, you have an unstructured one.
Everyone has a way of doing things—a set of habits, routines, and processes they follow daily, whether consciously or not. But here’s the thing: an unstructured system often leads you in circles, not closer to your goals. Instead of sticking to a system that doesn’t work, why not create one that does?
Why Systems Matter
If you’re anything like I was—say, a university student striving to earn your degree—you might be wondering how you can achieve more with less effort. Who wants to read endlessly without seeing success on exams? Or build a business that feels like a constant battle, where every day brings a new fire to put out?
I certainly don’t. That’s why I spent around six years finding an efficient way to manage these challenges.
The answer, as you might have guessed, is Systems.
But not just any systems—systems that feel organic to you. It’s not about copying some random structure a guy on the internet suggests. It’s about creating a system that fits your unique needs and goals.
What is a System?
Think of a system as a process that delivers consistent results every time. A good system is one that, once set up, can run on autopilot, freeing you up to focus on other things.
How to Create a System That Works for You
Here’s a step-by-step guide to creating a system that’s tailored to your needs:
1. Identify What Needs a System
Start by pinpointing the area where you need efficiency. For example, let’s say you want to create content more effectively. Ask yourself, “How can I streamline this process?”
2. Break It Down Into Subparts
Next, dissect the task into smaller, manageable parts. Continuing with the content creation example:
Step 1: How can I create visual posts quickly? Answer: Use visual templates.
Step 2: How do I create reusable templates? Answer: Use Canva as a library of assets.
Step 3: How do I automate posting? Answer: Use Instagram’s free scheduling tool.
3. Implement and Optimize
Now that you’ve mapped out your system, put it to work. Start using it, and as you gather feedback from your own experience, continue to refine and optimize the process. Over time, your system should evolve to the point where it requires minimal input from you.
Leveraging Systems for Success
With a well-designed system in place, you can wake up each morning, follow your system, and achieve your desired results—whether that’s acing your exams, growing your business, or hitting any other goal—without relying on fleeting motivation or mood swings.
